Ambrosia Adventures In Cooking was started 25 yrs ago by Maureen Goulet. Some of the best Chefs in Vancouver have shared their culinary secrets with Ambrosia students. Guest chefs have included: Michael Jacob, (Le Crocodile), Pierre de la Cote, (Seasons in the Park), Ernst Dorfler, (The 5 Sails), Karen Barnaby, (The Fish House Stanley Park) and Andrew Court, (Wall Centre Hotel) to name a few. Maureen has also hosts many cooking classes at various local hotels such as; The Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel, The Waterfront Hotel, The Hotel Vancouver, The Bayshore Hotel and the Sutton Hotel as well as other locations outside Vancouver.

Another events Maureen has created is the "Men Only' Valentine Cooking Class, which men learn how to make a gourmet meal for their wives/significant others for Valentine's Day. More Info

Singles classes have also become popular with Maureen's clientèle. Men and Women of similar ages come to cooking events where they can learn how to prepare great recipes while having the opportunity to meet other like minded individuals to share the evening with. Maureen's Singles' events have inspired a few relationships and have even lead to a number of weddings! More Info

For the corporate client Maureen has developed the Mystery Box Competition. After a day of meetings your employees are treated to a Cook-Off. Every team must create one entree from the ingredients at hand then each group is marked on strict criteria evaluating presentation, taste and team effort. Looking for a great idea for your next staff party? Maureen will organize your guests into groups to produce one part of a gourmet dinner that all will share following the presentation. This has been a great ice breaker for staff parties especially when the spouses are invited. Everyone gets to know each other while preparing a gourmet feast!

Maureen Goulet resides in West Vancouver with her husband Maurice and their two children, Carrie and Matthew who have all been very supportive and involved in the business over the years.
