Mystery Box Competitions
You've
seen chefs compete on the Food Network, but have been afraid
to take a bite into a raw red pepper? Ambrosia Adventures in
Cooking brings all the excitement of televised cuisine within
your reach with its "Mystery Box and Black Box Competitions".
After being randomly separated into teams, competitors will
draw a course from a hat. This team is then responsible for
the preparation of this course using only the resources provided.
Help will be available from your team's supervising chef, but
the bulk of the challenge rests on your and your teammates'
shoulders.
Courses will be graded on taste, presentation, and waste management,
as well as how well the team worked together. Not only is this
a great way to challenge yourself in the pressurized kitchen
environment, it's also a great exercise in teamwork. This event
is a once in a lifetime experience, so sign up your co-workers
and whet your appetites.
