Shrimp Wonton Purses

Shrimp Wonton Purses
[ serves 4 as an appetizer ]

1 cup Salmon Diced (¼”)

½ cup Shrimp Chopped (¼”)

¼ cup Green onions
(chopped small)

2 tbs Black beans

Soy sauce

Pepper

Lemon Juice

Cilantro

To prepare the filling, cut all ingredients small, to produce seafood filling that is seasoned with black beans, lemon juice, soy and pepper.

½ gal Vegetable oil
for frying

1 pkg. Wonton skins for wrapping

To prepare the wontons, place 1Tbs of filling in the center of a wonton skin, brush the edges of the skin with egg, and pinch in the corners to produce symmetrical won ton purses. Store the purses on paper towel to keep them dry prior to frying.

 

Sauces

Sauce One
1 cup Orange marmalade

½ cup prepared horseradish

Sauce Two

1 cup Sweet chili sauce

1 T Fresh lime juice

Combine ingredients and refrigerate.
